New Zealand Sabbatical

New Zealand pubs have a tradition of weeknight trivia contests. Our local establishment, Grain and Grape, draws customers in most Wednesday nights for a highly organized 2 hour event. We have a team of 7 people who have been participating during our 4 months in Dafield. It was a great night for “Team Mumps” this week as we bested 7 other teams to take first prize. We got off to a hot start with 9 of ten correct answers in the category Periodic Table then held on thru 9 more challenging sections to claim the $50 gift certificate. I suppose we are now lose our amateur status in this pusuit. Maybe bigger NIL money is on the horizon. I took this picture of the brain trust which intentionally leaves me out.
