Approved by the NZ medical board!
I just found out I have been approved to practice medicine in Darfield, NZ and start at its clinic 11-21-22. The process was rigorous. Thanks go partly to my Newton Clinic partners who vouched for my competence and character.

New Zealand registration
I have applied for privileges to practice medicine in NZ and am thankful I have help in this regard as the task would seem monumental to do by myself. Amy from Global Medical Staffing brought in Andrea for this essential step and we proceed forward steadily.

Southern Hemisphere
We are thinking ahead and wondering if we will adapt quickly to driving on the left side of the road. I was reminded today bath water will drain in a clockwise rotation in the southern hemisphere (opposite of the counterclockwise rotation we see in our northern hemisphere) so I will watch for that.

Planning underway
Dianne and I are going to New Zealand in November, 2022 for an adventure in the southern hemisphere. I will practice medicine in Darfield just 20 miles from Christchurch on the southern island for their summer season while Iowa sees winter.
